Mobile boarding passes at Pulkovo

ALROSA Airlines would like to draw the attention of passengers flying from St. Petersburg that a mobile boarding pass service has been launched at Pulkovo Airport.

Until recently, passengers were required to present a paper boarding pass at Pulkovo Airport. From March 1, 2023, a passenger on domestic flights who is traveling with carry-on baggage only no longer needs to print out a boarding pass at the terminals or receive a paper boarding pass at the check-in counter. If a passenger has checked in for a flight online, they only need to present an electronic boarding pass on their mobile device to pass pre-flight control and board the flight.

The Mobile Boarding project was launched based on Russian software developed by Neolabs. The introduction of the new service is another step towards digital transformation and improving the quality of airport services.

Please note:

The service is not available to passengers with baggage. They will need to go to the check-in counter to drop off their baggage and receive a paper boarding pass.

According to the airport operator, Northern Capital Gateway LLC, Pulkovo Airport served more than 18 million passengers in 2022. At the end of the year, Pulkovo became the second airport in Russia in terms of traffic volume on domestic air routes, second only to Moscow's Sheremetyevo.
